HEALING IS FOR YOU!

God will move on your behalf when you recite His word back to Him. I will, therefore, list some Bible verses that will help you in your communication with Him. These verses should be prayed aloud daily for your healing. Hearing them will also increase your faith.

Accompanying these Bible verses you will find statements in brackets. This may help you personalize your prayer.

I suggest that you start all prayer with, "Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I am agreeing with your word and your word is truth."

Healing is not something we can earn. It was purchased when Jesus paid the price. Healing the sick is a part of God's work of mercy and grace [unmerited favor]. When Jesus healed the sick and raised the dead He said that He was the image of His Father. Remember, however, that our obedience to His word expresses our belief in Him.

James 5:13-16
"Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another,
that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

All throughout the Scriptures we find that praise for God, such as singing psalms, always precedes the works of God. Therefore, always come before Him with praise, both in song and in word.

When the devil came to Jesus in the wilderness and tempted Him, Jesus took action. He spoke to the devil and quoted recorded Scripture. This overcame the evil one.
It is very important to recognize that Jesus prefaced each scripture with "It is written." He knew the power of reciting the recorded word of God. This is the perfect example for you. When you are under attack by disease you can quote Scripture, saying, "It is written." God hears and honors His word.

Isaiah 55:10-11
God said, "For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper whereunto I sent it
."

VERSES TO QUOTE IN PRAYER

John 14:27
[Jesus, you said,] "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
[In the name of Jesus I renounce all fear of this disease and trust you to heal me.]

John 15:7
[You recorded,] "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.".
[By your mercy and grace I abide in you and by my will I hide your words in my heart. Thank you for causing them to work on my behalf.]

James 5:16
"Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

Exodus 15:26
" And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee."
[You are the LORD that heals me, therefore I receive your healing.]

Exodus 23:25
"And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee."

2 Kings 20:1
" In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet
Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.
"

2 Kings 20:2-6
[Hezekiah] "... turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying,
I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before
thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore
.
And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,
Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus
saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD."
[I thank you Jesus that you have heard me and I thank you for healing me as you did Hezekiah.]

Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:"

Proverbs 3:1-12
[Father I will keep your word before my eyes and in my heart. You said,] "My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my
commandments:
For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight
of God and man.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear [respect] the LORD, and depart from evil.
It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thy increase:
So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses
shall burst out with new wine.
My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be
weary of his correction:
For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the
son in whom he delighteth."

Matthew 21:19-22
[One day Jesus saw a fig tree.] "... he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and he said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforthward for ever. And presently the tree withered away.
And when the disciples marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If
ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing,

[Thank you O' LORD that you have heard my prayer and have taken action based upon my confession of your word.]
