Last month I wrote a letter which I believed would help you live in His blessings. It was about the proper use of one's tongue; The words we say are powerful. (Re: James 3:1-10). God has impressed me to expand this message because most Christians are addicted to speak like non christians. Those who do not guard their tongue shatter their own life!

Some people use profanity. This is bad enough but, many Christians curse themselves and others by speaking in the negative. Should we be pessimistic? No! God's people should never live as skeptics. We should be optimistic at all times. Paul wrote to the Ephesians, saying, Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but, what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, .... Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice [resentment]. (Eph. 4:29-31, N.K.J.). If one follows Paul's instructions he will speak right things and be in agreement with our LORD. This person will even think on good things.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and suplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally brethern, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things. (Philippians 4:6-8, N.K.J.). Then God's blessings will be his reward.

Is it possible that little attention is given to what we say because we are like a smoker? A smoker knows that death can be the results of his action but, it is always someone else in the hospital, that is until it is too late. As God's children we know that negative words will bring destruction but, we think this will not happen to us, until it is too late. So we go on speaking in agreement with "Apollyon," the one who destroys. (See Rev. 9:11). With so much trouble in the world we must not speak more trouble into being. It is time for us to be cognizant of what we say, speak good and receive good.

How do we accomplish positive confessions? We simply set our will to change, pray for change, read God's word daily and believe God's Holy Spirit will help us. Then, do not give up on change until it happens. After we change we will cause other people to seek salvation. This is what our time on earth is for. Our speech or actions should never cause anyone to turn from God.

JoAnn is doing fine. A praying Doctor and praying nurses will complete her chemotherapy in the early part of May. She has not been sick one time. This is because of God's help! We prayed that the poison could not hurt her but, it would kill all disease. Thank you for praying for her.

We would like for you to pray for Knowledge of Jesus Ministries. We are still seeing Jesus fix hurting people but, there are additional things we desire to do. I have almost finished what I hope will be the last re-write on the book, Letter To Israel. It is ready for editing and then it will go to press. Yesterday I received a call from a Baptist pastor, a friend in South Florida, who knows something about the many pastors God has helped through this ministry. He ask if I could hold recovery seminars for ministers, those who were having or have had trouble. This has been in my heart for a long time. One of the last Scriptures my Dad marked in his preaching Bible was Romans 11:29. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Men called of God can not quit without being devastated; God will not release them. From my years in media I have the experience required to develop materials and set up recovery seminars. However, to minister to these men will require additional help and funds. Also if this is done I must know where to set up these meetings and the best way to reach ministers who need help. Maybe this is in the future but, like all other things we do I must have the LORD'S guidance or it will not happen. Thank you for caring about us, praying for us and supporting us as we continue in the LORD'S work.

Send your prayer request to the above address. We desire to hear from you. You are important to us.
