It is good to write to you, knowing that the love of Jesus Christ is in your heart. We hold to the belief that this name is above all names. By Him we are saved and we are blessed.

The devil, through deception, is tying to dilute the truth about our redeemer and His power. However, we have nothing to fear! In the midst of a troubled world we can be like the children of Israel when the plagues came upon Egypt. They were there but unharmed.

Let us strengthen our faith by reviewing a story about the Apostle Peter. By the power of God he spoke in the name of Jesus and restored health to a cripple. Afterwards, about five thousand people believed on Jesus and were saved. (Acts 3:1-4:4).

The next day, Peter and John were arrested and asked, "... by what name have you done this." Peter, speaking to the rulers, elders, scribes of Israel and others present, said, Let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. "This is the 'stone which was rejected by the builders, which has become the chief corner stone.' Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:10-12).

Today, Peter's statement has not lost any of its truth. There is only one name given unto men whereby we can come before the Most High God. That name is Jesus (In Hebrew, Y'shua). He is the door. (John 10:7). However, a great deception is growing in our midst. It comes in the name of Allah, which is Muhammad's name for deity. This has caused some people to question the only way into the Kingdom of God, which is by the blood sacrifice of Jesus and the grace of God.

In 1990, a Wall Street Journal front page article was headlined, "Islam Is Growing Fast In The U.S., Fighting Fear and Stereotypes." This means that the people of Islam are intending to appear as "angels of light." They no longer wish to seem like harsh people living under stringent laws. Last week, our local newspaper announced that they would feature a monthly Islamic column. Here and throughout our "Christian Nation" uninformed people will be reading what Moslems desire for them to know. Take a moment to look beneath their veneer and know what the Koran (Islamic bible) says about you.

"Believers (in the Koran) do not seek the friendship of infidels and those who were given the Book (Bible) before you. ..." (Koran 5:57). "Unbelievers are they that say: 'Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary.'..." "Unbelievers are those who say: 'Allah is one of three.'...". The Messiah, son of Mary, was no more than an apostle. ..." (Koran 5:70-75). I could continue, but this is enough for you to know the truth. Today, the Moslem people are working hard to overcome our message about the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. They offer a way to God by the works of man. This makes them dangerous; not only them but any religion or organization that offers a way into heaven, or paradise without the blood sacrifice, the covenant of God's grace and the name of Jesus.

I have brought you this message in hopes that you will stand up for the truth and speak against the lie. Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, ... (1 John 2:18).

The antichrists which John spoke of are still among us. I believe there will come a time when a great number of Western and mid-Eastern religious people will say, "We all worship the same God. Let us live in peace." In the name of unity many religions will accept some "politically correct" name for their god. If this happens it will be the work an antichrist spirit. However, we have nothing to fear!

Again I say, In the midst of a troubled world we can be like the children of Israel when the plagues came upon Egypt. They were there but unharmed." We must, however, remember that the children of Israel were in covenant with the LORD. Today, people in God's safety are in covenant with Jesus. Therefore, we should desire to be like Peter and the other Apostles, vessels and instruments of God's work.
