CHANGING LIVES BEYOND THE SOLAR YEAR 2000 A.D.
The basic story about Jesus' birth, death, resurrection and salvation of men never changes. This, however is only a starting point for our growth in the LORD. There is so much more! We can live from milk of the Word or solid food from the Word (1 Cor. 3:1-2). If one receives the fullness of the Holy Spirit he should continue to learn about the works of God. The Holy Spirit, will teach all things and recall all things to our remembrance whatsoever God has said (John 14:26). His word is pure truth! On the other hand, truth often becomes distorted by men. In order to prevent this we must ask God to reveal and remove all false teachings and doctrines. This will prepare us to lead a Twenty-First Century generation to Jesus.
Be alert: traditions and theories, especially re-cooked theories, about prophecy can prevent us from advancing in the true knowledge of God.
During the 1930's and early 1940's I heard ministers and Bible teachers dogmatically proclaim that "World War II" was the Revelation 16:16 "Battle of Armageddon." According to them the "Rapture" and second coming of Jesus Christ was imminent. Their theory was wrong. Because we are approaching the year 2,000 A.D. some preachers and teachers are again proclaiming basically the same thing. A small group of these are so emphatic about their interpretation of scripture and world conditions that they appear to be full of pride and stubbornness. Watch out for these characteristics. I noticed that these people are supporting their supposition with the same scriptures that preachers used to support their rationalization about Christ's return after World War II and Armageddon. They may also be wrong. Consider the following information. It should help us stay focused on God's mission for us (Mark 16:15).
In 1974, I had a "beyond and back death experience." Two years later I started having night visions, revealing lists of scriptures to study. God's schooling disclosed data that is now a part of the book, Letter To Israel. I hope the following condensed excerpts from the book will help you understand where we are on "God's Timetable." I offer this with a warning; knowing more about God's timing can give us peace of mind, but do not take this information and try to guess when Jesus will return. No man knows the day (Matt. 24:36).
By forty-two moves the Children of Israel departed Egypt and entered Canaan (Numbers 33). Jesus was born the forty-second generation from David (Luke 3) and 4,200 solar years after the creation of Adam. (Re: Genesis 5; Genesis 11:10; Genesis 11:10-26; Genesis 21:56; Genesis 25:26; Genesis 47:8-9; Exodus 12:40-41; I Kings 6:1; II Chronicles 3:2; I kings 11:42, and World History).
By using a seven step formula the above 4,200 solar years were converted to 360 day biblical years. They then became 4,261 "times." (For a definition of times see Daniel 7:24 & Revelation 12:14.) When the future solar year 2700 A.D. was also converted it became 2,739 "times." Now add the two periods. The result is 7,000 (360 day) years. This reveals that the solar year 2700 A.D. is the same as 7,000 (360 day) years forward of the creation of Adam. Now move from 360 day years to regular solar years. Add B.C. 4200 and 2000 A.D. to get 6,200 A.C.A. (After the Creation of Adam). By knowing that 2000 A.D. is the same as 6200 A.C.A. we can add another 800 years and arrive at the Solar year 2800 A.D. or 7000 A.C.A. Could the calendar reach this point? Only God knows! Being a Christian causes us to feel that Jesus could come at any time, but His appearance could be many years away. God completes things in seven's, and perfects them in eight's. The validity of this and the rest of the story can be found in Letter To Israel.
Prophecy and the study thereof is needful, but do not get wrapped up in prophetic teachers, especially those who try to make what they observe fit prophecy. Both they and I could be wrong. Focus instead on what God has called us to do. Under the anointing we must preach the Gospel to every nation.
JoAnn is doing great, but there are many other victims of cancer. In the name of Jesus let us pray against the disease, cursing it at its root. In the same prayer remind Jesus of His words concerning the cursed fig tree (Matt. 21:19-22). Also ask for extra faith, the faith Jesus spoke of in the fig tree story.
