A large percentage of the people on our mailing, through this ministry, have experienced a cleansing of mind. This message explains this important part of God's work. Cleansing one's mind is something that anyone can do, if they follow the instructions given by Jesus.
Recently, the LORD reminded me of my old computer, the one with a small hard drive. When it became overloaded with data it slowed and had trouble finding needed files. The hard drive actually became confused. The only solution was to search for and erase all unwanted files. After purging these files the computer would run like a new one.
We are like that computer. As we go through life we fill our minds with many files; a lot of these should be purged. In short, we contain files that are not of God. We receive false teachings, contain fears and in many cases we have files filled with problems and hurts from our past. These files hold stories, and names of people that we have not forgiven, or have not asked to forgive us. All these things cause confusion, a tool of the devil (1 Cor. 14:33). Because confusion is the opposite of peace it prevents God from blessing us. Therefore, we cannot live in the fullness of a blessed life until we search for and purge these old files.
In order to take on the mind of Christ, and be like Him, we must cleanse our carnal mind; otherwise we walk in the flesh and not in the spirit (See Romans 8:1-2). In the Spirit we can live in the fullness of God's mercy and grace. However, there is a definite starting point - this must start with forgiving and receiving forgiveness.
Jesus said, For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your heavenly Father forgive you. (Matt.6:14-15) So many times this message is not brought to the attention of people who have asked Jesus to come into their heart. Therefore, men have watered down the salvation message and say, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and ye shall be saved." This they do, leaving off the rest of the story. For this cause many have been cheated out of the blessings of God, and the gifts of the Spirit.
I ask Jesus to recall to my conscious mind all files hidden in the subconscious that need to be purged. Then I confess with my mouth these unwanted files, and ask Jesus to remove them from me. By doing this I stay free and peace is ever present.
So many people ask about my wife, JoAnn, or they call to check on her. Because of this I will give an update on her health. First, we thank you for praying for her. God has delivered her from cancer and frequent headaches. A new bone scan reveals that all her bones are in good shape. The cancer damage in her spine has been restored, and the breast bone damage is in the process of filling in. Two "Cat Scans" show that her stomach and chest organs are in great shape. Praise God because He is worthy and His truth endures forever.
You are very much a part of this ministry, therefore, we have some things for you to pray about. We have no way of knowing for sure but we feel that we are in a battle with the adversary because of the book, Letter To Israel. It is completed! 1) Pray that God will supply a way of publication and distribution. 2) Seven years ago God delivered me from prostate cancer. Recently, I had a bladder infection and the medical exams indicate that I am still cancer free. I also had a regular physical in order to maintain my pilot's lincense. Another prostate exam showed that I am free. Thank God for my continued good health. 3) For the past three months the ministry has suffered lack of funds. JoAnn and I have used personal money to cover some of the expense. 4) JoAnn is experiencing pain in her back, under her lower right rib cage and in her right stomach area. Because all tests show that nothing is wrong with her organs, or bones, the doctors believe that the back and rib pain is probably caused by pinched nerves. The stomach pain is contributed to pain killers irritating her stomach lining. With your help we will overcome all adversity.
If you need our help, remember that we love you and will pray for you. Beloved, think it not strange concerning fiery trials which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's suffering; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. (1 Peter 4:12-13)
