You are special to us and to the LORD Jesus Christ. Therefore, we ask Him to bless you in every area of your life. Isn't this a great time to be alive?
Today, spiritual warfare (2 Cor. 10:2-4.) appears to be at its peak, and we, the children of God are winning. We win by staying focused on and speaking the word of God. This is positive, and keeps us from looking on things after their outward appearance. (2 Cor. 10:7.)
It is easy to focus on outward appearance and see the evil of this world. If one thinks in a negative fashion, follows the news and looks at the confusion in the work place and shopping areas, it is there. On the other hand we can look past this. Positive thinking causes us to focus on the good that God is doing. This far outweighs everything else. So, be encouraged this day: God is in control!
In James Chapter 5, we find the importance of positive speech and prayer. In verse 16 we read, pray one for another, that ye may be healed. I know that you have many things to pray about, but also consider praying for the good things that I will place in bold type below.
It has been reported that during 1996 not one person was saved (accepted Jesus) in a large percentage of America's churches. On the other hand, "Revival" is under way throughout America and throughout the world. More people are accepting Jesus than ever before. Churches, where people offer prayer and praise to God, are growing out of their buildings. People are saying that the Internet is bad, but when I survey "The World Wide Web" I see more and more good coming on line. It is glorious to see people ministering the "Word of God" by this media. The Web is an easy low cost way to reach millions of people throughout the world, and this can be done daily.
About four years ago, the Holy Spirit began dealing with me about putting the KOJ newsletters on the Internet. At that time I knew almost nothing about the computer network. It was just beginning to really expand. Today, things are different! KOJ went on line in May of 1996, and the ministry has continued to grow in this media. We receive mail from people that are searching for the LORD and more about His works. This is good, but it is not enough. It is time to expand.
This month we are adding the Knowledge of Jesus' Web address to 100 search engines, scattered throughout the world. As soon as all of these connections are made a number of key words in anyone's net-search will present the KOJ address to them. When they connect to KOJ they will find pages of scripture on healing. In addition, there are now 62 newsletters available for people to download and print, at no cost to them. These are the same letters that you receive every month. We will add another letter each month. KOJ supporters have made this possible.
As you read this letter you may still be thinking, "How can we look and see the positive with so much confusion and negativism in the world?" If this is happening to you, read Romans 15:5 and Philippians 2:4-5. The best positive thinking comes by making a decision to let the Holy Spirit take charge and cause you to think like Jesus, and by reading His word.
Personal: I have probably told you before that Israel is in its Jubilee year and will soon complete fifty years as a nation. JoAnn and I are also in our Jubilee year, and on October 23 we will complete our fiftieth year of marriage. Boy! This makes us appear to be old, but we started early and God has kept us young. We are now praying for many more years together. During this time we believe God will work through us to bring thousands of people into His kingdom. This brings up the book, "Letter to Israel." I have updated the material to cover the latest happenings in the Mid East and have written how Princes Diana's death was on schedule with events in that area of the world. (Her death brought unity to Great Britain, and because she had so much influence it probably prevented an accelerated spread of the Antichrist religion, Islam. She was deeply involved with a Muslim man.) Join us in praying for a proper publisher for this book.
