GOD IS TAKING HIS "WORD" BACK TO ISRAEL

It is time to tell you more about the red cattle project for Israel, which is prophecy in action. Therefore, I write this letter from O’Neill, a town in Nebraska. I am with Clyde Lott and Dan Straka, men called of God for this work. In previous letters I have introduced you to Clyde and his wife Priscilla, but you do not know Dan and his wife, Mary. They are wonderful Christian people that know red cattle and are taking care of hundreds of them until they can be shipped to Israel. (a shipping date has not been set).

Media is becoming interested in the work of Canaan Land Restoration of Israel, Inc., the non-profit corporation headed by Clyde Lott. On March 23rd, Ira Glass, from International Public Radio, conducted an interview with Clyde. This program is being aired on all PBS stations during the week of April 4-10. Contact your nearby station for air time of the program entitled The American Life. On Wednesday, May 30, a CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) production crew arrived on Dan’s farm to produce a television program for Zone Libre, a french language program. This will be broadcast in Canada and "other French-speaking countries throughout Europe and Africa." We do not have a schedule of air times for this program.

Because of the bond God has made between Clyde and myself, I have received many letters and phone calls concerning his work with the cattle. This helps me know what questions are being asked. So, I will try to answer some of them for you at this time, a time of Passover.

Some Jews believe that when the Red cattle arrive in Israel it will usher in the Messiah’s appearance. It is obvious that most Torah-observing Jews believe it to be His first appearance, but Christians believe that it is His second. However, no matter what one believes there is a lot of work to be done before that event takes place, possibly years of work. But one thing is sure, most believers are expecting Him to arrive, rule and reign from a temple in Jerusalem. If this is true, the temple must be rebuilt. The Rabbis at the Temple Institute have the priests’ clothing and most of the vessels of worship ready, but they must also have a perfect red heifer, one born in Israel. This will come from the offspring of the herd that Clyde, and those helping him, will soon ship to the land of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It must be born in Israel.

Red cattle are definitely destined for Israel. A recent letter to Clyde, from Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, founder of the Temple Institute wrote the following.

I am proud of the relationship the Temple Institute has developed with Canaan Land Restoration of Israel, Inc. over the past eight years. Our partnership has two chief aims: restoring the red heifer to Israel after 2000 years since the destruction of the Holy Temple and revitalizing cattle raising throughout Israel.

We are glad to see that after years of effort on your part, this dream is becoming reality. Large herds of red cattle will soon be on their way to the ancient grazing lands of the Golan, the [Mount] Gilboa and the Hills of Jerusalem.

Restoring cattle in Israel will fulfill many prophecies. Consider Deuteronomy 28:11. Then read Deuteronomy 30:1-9. Take special notice that along with the promise of cattle being restored to Israel there is another promise. This is God’s pledge to circumcise the hearts of more than one generation of Jewish people, and do this after their return to the promised land. In Ezekiel these promises are again foretold (Ezekiel 36:24-30). We believe that this is why God called Clyde and those who help him to this mission. We also believe that all of this is tied to the book God has given to me, Letter to Israel. It will probably be published at about the same time the cattle arrive in Israel. You may also like to read about the flocks and herds of new Israel in Jeremiah 31:11-12.

Where herds exist there must also be pools and streams. For this reason deep rooted grasses will be planted in Israel. This will raise the water table, causing the prophecy of Isaiah 35 to be fulfilled.

A recent letter from Clyde to Rabbi Yisrael Ariel tells the red heifer story in brief form. This letter is now on display in the Temple Institute in Jerusalem, but you can read it here.

Dear Rabbi Ariel,

In answer to your letter requesting information concerning the red cattle project, we offer the following information.

Our intent is to ship herds of red cattle, from the United States to Yertz Yisrael and establish farms on soil where cattle will flourish under the watchful eye of the Temple Institute and AMBAL (The Association of Beef Cattle Breeders of Israel). It is with pleasure that I serve as a board member on the National Agricultural Steering Committee (of Israel) the association founded by AMBAL for the purpose of restoring red cattle in the land of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

In 1989, we started our work with you and later continued with some Israeli government officials, United States Department of Agriculture officials and others to bring this program into reality. This work will

continue until red cattle are located on grasslands in the hills and valleys chosen by G_d for the purpose prophesied in the Tanakh (Isaiah 30; Ezekiel 36; Isaiah 65; Deuteromony 11).

Even before our 1989 contact my studies of the book of Numbers in the Bible had caused me to question what a proper red heifer looked like. Being a cattleman and having studied animal science this interested me, and soon brought me in contact with the Temple Institute. Your prompt answer set in motion a great program of restoring red cattle to the Holy Land. It soon became obvious to me and you that the G_d of your fathers had ordained this program. He alone put it in our hearts to carry the red heifer project to completion.

At times the program appeared to progress slowly, but we continued with the knowledge that everything takes place on the L_rd’s schedule.

Canaan Land Restoration of Israel has been blessed under the direction of officers and patrons that love G_d and love Israel. Therefore, our chief goals are before us. We must get the herds of red cattle from the United States to Israel, and we must also feed them. Therefore, we will use forage (grasses) developed in the United States for barren lands. These deep rooted grasses will look for water table to a depth of over 25 feet. They will, therefore, draw water to the surface, causing pools and streams to collect where only before barren land was seen. This will surely fulfill the word of G_d as recorded in Isaiah 35.

With G_d’s divine help, our partnership will flourish and, with His guidance, we will complete this project on His pre-ordained schedule.

Respectfully,

Clyde Lott

In the above letter, in respect for the Orthodox Jews, God is written G_d and Lord is written L_rd. They spell it this way in fear of blaspheming the Lord’s name.

I was interrupted in finishing this letter in O’Neill because of the cancer death of my first cousin, a lady more like a younger sister. I had to leave Clyde, Dan and Mary one day earlier than intended in order to fly back for the funeral in Iuka, Mississippi. I am thankful for their love and understanding that allowed them to drive me to Omaha, Nebraska, where I could got a flight home. This is the closest commercial airport, but almost a four hour drive from O’Neill. It is hard to believe that Margret June’s transfer to be with the Lord came so close after my wife’s transfer to be with Him. Forty days after JoAnn’s departure I was back in my old home town for another funeral. This was also exactly seven months following the day my brother had the same experience. In the book, Letter to Israel, I tell how God speaks in numbers. Forty speaks of trials and testing or rest depending, on the subject matter. Seven is the number of completion. I have to ask, "Lord, what is taking place?"

I do not have enough words to thank everyone for the cards, letters, e-mails and phone calls of sympathy and encouragement that I have received. Many of you have told of your love for JoAnn and how she was an example for you, or how she had helped you. Some have encouraged me not to give up and quit the ministry. Others have expressed a belief that this ministry will greatly expand. I promise you that I will not quit, but be available for whatever God has for my future, and the future of Knowledge of Jesus ministries.

Remember that you are special, you are loved and I cannot do God’s work without your continued support.

Therefore, I thank you for your continued prayers that undergird this work.
