Greetings in the name of Jesus,
Could the years 1999 and 2000 be important landmarks in the Lords work? This question has entered many minds, so I will offer some facts for your consideration. Before doing this I must admit that after twenty-one years of studying God’s timetable (both in the Bible and History) I cannot be sure about the answer. However, the Father in Heaven knows the times and seasons of His future work (Matt 24:36). And, that is good enough for me! With these things in mind we can address the significance of 1999 and 2000. I will tell you in a small capsule something that the Lord has shown to me.
In this letter it is impossible to validate all the facts I am about to present. I assure you though that they are well documented in Letter to Israel, a book soon to be published.
Today, dates on Israeli newspapers and contracts show the Jewish Civil Calendar year to be 5759. This is the calendar established by Maimonides (1135-1204). While Jews use this calendar a large part of the world honors the Gregorian calendar. This is the one established by Pope Gregory XIII, and was properly starts at the birth of Jesus On the Gregorian calendar we will enter into the year 2000 one year from now. In two years, when the year 2000 A.D. is completed, we will be 2,000 years forward of the birth of Jesus Christ.
According to an accumulation of biblical and historical records, Jesus was born forty-two hundred solar years forward of the creation of Adam. If we add two thousand years to the years prior to His birth we find that the completed year 2000 is six thousand two hundred years forward of the creation of Adam. Obviously this does not agree with the Jewish civil calendar. Four hundred, forty years separate the two. The reason for this is not important for this story, but it is addressed in Letter to Israel.
There is another way to count time. In the Bible we find that a "time" is the same as 360 days (Revelation 11:1-3; 12:6-14; Genesis 7:6-12; Genesis 8:2-4). This allows one to compute the 360-day year ("time") we will be living in when the year 2000 A.D. is completed. As you continue to read you can forget this paragraph if you remember that one "time" is equal to 360 days.
The 4,200 solar years prior to Jesus’ birth farther converts to 4,261.16 "times". The 2,000 thousand solar years forward of Jesus’ birth converts to 2,029.15 times. Therefore, when the year 2000 is completed we will be 6,290.31 "times" forward of the creation of Adam. Thismeans that in 6,200 solar years the 360- day calendar is farther ahead. By taking the Gregorian calendar forward to the year 2700 A.D. we find that 2,739 "times" is completed 254 days into that year. By adding the 4,261 "times" accumulated before Christ’s birth to this 2,739 "times" shown above we arrive at the number 7,000 or 7,000 "times" forward of the creation of Adam.
Is this completion of "times" when we enter into the eighth day, or does the "day of rest" come near or at the end of 7,000 solar years? I must again say that I do not know the answer.
What does all of this mean? The answer is simple! Men know little about the time of the return of Jesus Messiah, but we can know that God does not make mistakes and He has a schedule for all things, even the things in your personal life.
Please continue to pray for my wife, JoAnn!!! We are in extreme trying times. The Oncologist said that people in her condition cannot live very long. However, God’s children do not live by the world’s rules. We have continued to pray the many scriptures concerning God, the healer. In James 5:12 we read, ... let your yes be yes and your no be no. For this cause we hold to our positive prayers, prayed for the last five years; thanking God that JoAnn is healed and restored to perfect health. We also know that many of you are also holding to your word concerning her restoration. Recently, JoAnn’s right leg had been hurting and became so bad that she could not put any weight on it. On Christmas eve, a doctor finally found the problem. The femur (upper leg bone) was fractured at the hip. On Saturday, December 26, a screw was put into the bone. Now the good report: On Sunday, she was able to put weight on that leg. On Monday, December 28, she was able to walk on it, and was released from the hospital. Her quick release astounded the nurses, but we knew who was in control and in the fullness of time this too will pass.
